Welcome to The Hannon Society
The Hannon Cup Association contributes to golf scholarships, supports the Austin Junior Golf Academy, hosts the George Hannon Junior Invitational, and conducts the Hannon Cup Matches. These activities are made possible by a “Society” of large donors to the Hannon Cup Association. Society members now have two options for joining and supporting the Hannon Cup Association. The NCAA Champions All-Inclusive package includes annual membership, scholarship funding, Battle at Butler, SPTGA Scholarship Luncheon, Day of Golf hosted by Mark Brooks, Hannon Pro-Am and a Celebration Dinner for $1,500. This package is valued at $3,000. The Even Par package includes annual membership and 50% off all events for $500. Join the Society’s efforts to support the Hannon Cup Association by making your contribution.

Our
Legacy
To date the Association has distributed over $600,000 worth of secondary education scholarships through the Southern Texas PGA Foundation. In August, the Association will host the Sixth Annual George Hannon Junior Invitational at the Hills Country Club. The event, managed by the Texas Legends Junior Tour is one of the premier junior golf tournaments in the state.
The Hannon Cup
Started in 1997, the Ryder Cup format event is played as a tribute to Coach Hannon. The brain child of Mark Coward, then Head Professional at Great Hills Country Club and Brent Buckman, then Director of Golf at Barton Creek Country Club and Resort. The event served as a testament to Coach, filled with strong competition, fellowship and fun.
Junior Scholarships
Administered by the STPGA Foundation and supported by the Hannon Cup Association, merit based scholarships are awarded each year to deserving boys and girls. The Hannon Cup Association feels very strongly about the scholarship program and the George Hannon Scholarship is currently the largest scholarship awarded through the STPGA Foundation.
